You’ve brought stories to life through StoryQuest™workshops, creating The Adventures of [School Name] which will make up The Adventures of Bradford anthology.Â

Despite challenges like fire alarms, Ofsted inspections, SATs, and even teachers’ waters breaking, you welcomed us warmly into your schools.
Inspired by our families Bradford heritage and the stunning views from Foxhill’s classrooms, (surely the best in the country), your brilliant imaginations are sparking a movement of young authors inspiring each other.
From hearing Dixons Manningham children share their stories on BCB Radio to revisiting Beckfoot Heaton, where Year 6 students inspired Year 5 peers to express their tales, it’s been an absolute privilege for Mary, Gabriel, and I to share our vision with you.

A Note From Gabriel!
Hi, I’m Gabriel! Bradford’s special to me, my granny’s from here, and her friend Mary (you’ve met her!) helped me with writing when I was five. I love skateboarding, sports, and storytelling with my mum, Kate.
I’m amazed how mine and my mums little project has grown! I love hearing your stories, and it’s amazing seeing children like us sharing adventures with one another.
